Gold Coast, Theme Parks, Tamborine Mountain, O’Reilly’s and Currumbin Sanctuary Tour Code PS 1 5 17 V1

A compact tour of the Gold Coast.  The opportunities provided for students, to participate in activities and to get to know one another whilst having a lot of fun.

Day 1 – Your capital city to the Gold CoastDay1

Depart your school campus at 7 am (or as required) for coach transfer to  Airport to meet airline check in time commitments. Fly to Coolangatta Airport. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your accommodation venue. Check in and have lunch. This afternoon walk a short distance to the local bus stop and join this bus for a 30 minute ride to connect with a tram ride into the heart of the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise. Participate in a self guided walk, instructions to be supplied, that will show you the shopping and tourist aspects of Surfers. Walk along the beach, perhaps a paddle. Special arrangements could be made to go to the Surf Life Saving Club for an introduction talk on safety and surfing . Public transport return journey to your accommodation (Bay Of Palms Resort) for dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Movie World & Wet & WildDay2

Today you will be picked up by bus and transferred to Movie World, one of the three theme parks that you will visit during your Gold Coast experience. Hold on tight and get ready for the ‘ride of your life’ . . . so many rides and so much fun to choose from! Bus transfer after lunch to Theme Park # 2 – Wet’n’Wild. Splash into another world, with some of the biggest and most extreme water slides in Australia! Dinner in downtown Surfers and coach transfer back to your accommodation.

Day 3 – Tamborine Mountain & O’Reilly’sDay3

A day tour to ‘natures wilderness’ – theWorld Heritage listed Lamington National Park; the volcanic plateau of Tamborine Mountain and Tamborine’s Gallery walk; a guided rainforest walk to a tropical waterfall; guided Tree Top walk through Lamington National Park; famous bird feeding at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat plus a chance to spotKoalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Reptiles and more…

Day 4 – Gold Coast & Sea WorldDay4

Public transport your way back to the Gold Coast city centre – free time this morning to explore further or shop for some souvenirs. After lunch you will be transferred to Theme Park # 3 – Sea World – the premier marine animal park in Australia. Make friends with the amazing marine life, from dolphins to sharks, seals and more; plus other attractions and rides. Tonight be dazzled and mesmerized by the famous Outback Spectacular dinner and show – witness the bravery, beauty and courage of the greatest Australian stories never told… High Country Legends.

Day 5 – Currumbin Sanctuary & Homeward BoundDay5

Walk from your accommodation this morning to Currumbin Beach noted for its famous zoo and wildlife sanctuary, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, home to over 1000 animals! Spend the morning at the sanctuary. Return to your accommodation to check out and transfer to Coolangatta Airport for your return flight home. You will be transferred from Melbourne Airport to your school.

Your tour cost includes:

  • The provision of a suitable modern touring vehicle to fit the needs and size of the group.
  • Fully equipped catering and luggage trailer
  • The services of an experience and accredited driver / guide.
  • Airport Transfers as applicable
  • The provision of a tour manager responsible for tour operations and catering safari style.
  • The provision of all accommodation on a multi-share 4, 5 or 6 students per room, teachers twin-share.      Single supplement additional cost.
  • The provision of all catering equipment inclusive of an individual dilly bag with personal knife, fork and spoon, cup, bowl and plate.
  • The provision of cooked breakfasts and light breakfasts, salad and sandwich lunches with fruit, cake and juice and 3 course evening meals as per itinerary.
  • The payment of all accommodation, visits, attractions and entry fees as per itinerary.

  • Morning, afternoon tea and evening supper.
  • Transport from home to departure point and arrival point to home.
  • Domestic air travel unless otherwise stated.
